The CSMOIM Launches the WELCOME ABOARD Podcast!

Quebec City, April 28, 2026 – The Human Resources Sectorial Committee of the Maritime Industry (CSMOIM) is proud to announce the launch of its WELCOME ABOARD podcast, a brand-new audio series dedicated to the human realities of Quebec's maritime industry.

Hosted by Marie-Andrée Lemelin-Breton, Vice President of Talent, Culture and Communication at the Port of Quebec, WELCOME ABOARD is aimed at both industry professionals and those curious to discover a world that is as fascinating as it is little-known.

Over five episodes, the series highlights the realities, career paths, and concrete challenges of the maritime industry through authentic discussions with workers and managers in the sector. The conversations cover topics such as the diversity of jobs at sea and on land, respect and well-being on board, work-life balance, multicultural leadership, and the green transition.
